pigs head drawing
The Apprentice, Pencil and Stainless Steel, 2015.

This young man had just realised his ambition to work for the country's premier Jet Engine engine manufacturer. I also made the custom metal frame with industrial machined finish to suit. Shown at the Shire Hall Gallery, 2015.

Further Work

Portraits are something I keep returning to after discounting my capacity to be professional at it years ago. Probably the important work which survives my RAF museum residency was the portraiture I only briefly completed there of a generation of volunteers now largely passed on. Amoungst the amazing things I remember those old men still showing was occasionally dusted off terrifying capacity to still bark like and officer who I REALLY did need to do what they were saying.
